Presented with a combination of rigidity and fragility, Affinity illustrates the strength of chairs obstructed by the peculiarity of positioning and construction of space. The bounded chairs manifest distance, distress, and absurdity masked by ostensible intimacy. The opposition of material, between wood and plastic, further inspects the tension between the apparent and the obscure.
